1.The Service

AppliHelm is an AI-powered career management and job application platform. It lets you build and maintain a structured career profile (education, work experience, projects, skills, certifications, references and related details), generate and manage CVs and application documents, track job applications, and use AI-assisted features described in Section 4.

AppliHelm is a tool that assists your job search. We do not guarantee interviews, offers, or employment outcomes of any kind.

2.Eligibility and Your Account

• You must be at least 18 years old to use AppliHelm.
• You must provide accurate registration information and keep your credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity under your account.
• One account per person. Accounts are personal and non-transferable.

3.Your Content

• You retain ownership of all content you submit — your career profile data, uploaded CVs, job descriptions you save, and documents you generate ("Your Content").
• You grant Mitudo Softwares a limited, non-exclusive licence to host, process, and display Your Content solely to operate and improve the service for you, including transmitting relevant parts of it to the AI providers described in Section 4 to fulfil your requests.
• You are responsible for the accuracy and lawfulness of Your Content, including ensuring you have the right to share any third-party information (for example, referee contact details) with us.

4.AI-Assisted Features

AppliHelm includes features powered by third-party large language models ("AI Features"), including CV parsing, profile summary generation, CV and cover-letter drafting, job-compatibility analysis, and similar assistance.

• AI output can be wrong. AI Features produce suggestions, not facts. Outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable. You must review everything before relying on it or sending it to an employer. You are solely responsible for the final content of any application you submit.
• Do not misrepresent. You must not use AI Features to fabricate qualifications, experience, or credentials.
• Processing by AI providers. When you use an AI Feature, the relevant parts of Your Content are sent to our AI model providers (currently Google, OpenAI and/or Anthropic) to generate the response, under agreements that restrict their use of the data. Details are in the Privacy Policy.
• Your own API keys. AppliHelm optionally allows you to configure your own AI provider API keys. If you do, your direct relationship with that provider (including its terms and billing) applies to those calls, you are responsible for the security and costs of your keys, and we are not liable for that provider's handling of your data. Keys you configure client-side are stored in your browser, not on our servers.
• Usage limits. AI Features are subject to plan limits and fair-use controls (Section 5). We may throttle or decline AI requests that exceed your plan's allowance.

5.Plans, Subscriptions and Payment

• Free plan — core profile building and application tracking, with a limited number of AI Feature uses.
• Pro plan — a paid monthly subscription (currently ₦500/month) with expanded access to AI Features, subject to fair use. "Unlimited" AI usage means unlimited normal personal use; we may apply fair-use limits to prevent abuse, automation, or resale.
• Top-up credits — one-off purchases of additional AI usage.
• Payments are processed by Paystack; we do not store your full card details. Subscriptions renew automatically each billing period until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from your account settings; cancellation stops future charges and your access continues to the end of the paid period.
• Refunds are governed by the AppliHelm Refund & Subscription Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
• Prices may change; we will give you at least 14 days' notice before a price change takes effect on your next renewal.

6.Acceptable Use

You must not:

• use AppliHelm for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms;
• misrepresent your identity, qualifications, or experience, or use the service to produce fraudulent applications or documents for another person without their consent;
• upload content that is unlawful, infringing, defamatory, or that contains malware;
• attempt to probe, breach, or circumvent security or access controls (including rate limits and AI usage limits), or access another user's data;
• scrape, bulk-extract, or resell the service or its outputs; use the service to build a competing dataset; or use automated agents to consume AI Features beyond normal personal use;
• reverse engineer the service except where the law permits.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach this section.

7.Intellectual Property

The AppliHelm software, brand, design, and everything in the service other than Your Content belong to Mitudo Softwares Limited or its licensors. These Terms grant you no rights in them except the right to use the service. Documents generated for you from Your Content are yours to use.

8.Third-Party Services

The service depends on third-party providers (including hosting, database, payment, and AI providers). Their availability affects ours. Links to third-party sites (for example, job postings) are provided as-is; we are not responsible for their content.

9.Availability and Changes

The service is provided on an "as available" basis. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features, and will give reasonable notice of material reductions to paid features. We may update these Terms; material changes will be notified in-app or by email at least 14 days before taking effect, and continued use after that constitutes acceptance. Dated prior versions are retained.

10.Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Without limiting Section 4: we make no warranty as to the accuracy of AI output or the outcome of any job application.

11.Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mitudo Softwares Limited's total liability arising out of or relating to the service in any 12-month period is limited to the greater of (a) the amounts you paid us in that period, and (b) ₦10,000. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses, including loss of employment opportunity, loss of income, or loss of data caused by events beyond our reasonable control.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, including under mandatory consumer-protection law of your country of residence (see Section 14).

12.Indemnity

You will indemnify us against third-party claims arising from Your Content or your breach of Section 6, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

13.Termination

You may close your account at any time from settings. We may suspend or terminate your access for material breach, with notice where practicable. On termination, your right to use the service ends; data deletion and retention are handled per the Privacy Policy. Sections that by nature survive (7, 10–12, 14) survive termination.

14.Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and the courts of Lagos State, Nigeria have jurisdiction over disputes arising from them.

However, if you are a consumer resident in another jurisdiction (including the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Canada), you retain the benefit of any mandatory consumer-protection and data-protection rights of your country of residence, and nothing in this section deprives you of the right to bring proceedings in your local courts where that right cannot be waived.

Before formal proceedings, both parties agree to attempt good-faith resolution via the contact below for at least 30 days.
